The Collapsible Series explores the economy of space through collapsible garments which can be viewed on the body or installed in a gallery setting. It provokes a dialogue about the relationship between mass manufactured objects and handmade craft, through objects that expand and contract recalling an unfamiliar sensuality through a delicate equipoise. 2008
